Monterey County Reserve Pinot Noir

Monterey County Reserve Pinot Noir

Region: California

Vintage: 2020

Volume: 750ML

Located in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains, Amador County is a region that’s renowned for its high-quality Zinfandel. The grapes for our own Amador County Zinfandel come from the highly acclaimed Shake Ridge Vineyard, an organically-farmed ranch run by Ann Kraemer and her sisters. Aged for 10 months in French and American Oak, this Zinfandel bursts with sensational flavors of black raspberry, tart cherry, vanilla, and spice. Pair this elevated and full-bodied wine with charcuterie spreads, spicy barbecue dishes, and tangy salads.

The illustration that adorns this bottle is the state flower of California, the California poppy, which blooms heavily in the Amador County foothills. Locals said 2020 was record-breaking for the flower and that they had never seen so much of the vibrant poppy blanketing the region’s steep and stunning hills. In spreading the story of this bottle—you’re helping us spread hope by giving back to meaningful causes with every pour.
